This morning at 8:10am I turned in my thesis, "An Assessment of the Treatment of Ecology in Recent Old Testament Theologies". Several of you may be thinking, "didn't he already turn that in?". This submission was not to my supervisor (as the past ones have been), but was instead to the degree office. They will have it evaluated and give me a grade soon. Then I will have several copies published for use in the library at Southwestern Seminary, and Baylor University. This is not a publishing contract or a widely distributed sort of thing. Perhaps I can get part of it published in a journal, we'll see.
In other news, I recently began the process of switching operating systems. I will be moving to Ubuntu, a Linux distribution, from Windows Vista. Windows is fine, but it takes a while to load up, etc. I also like the idea of freely distributed software, with helpful support. Microsoft hasn't been that supportive or helpful to me. In addition, it seems to me that if an operating system is free, the price of the overall computer could be lower, thus enabling more people to access to the information superhighway.
